Who are we
At KDC we work with families with children from birth to adulthood, we also work with organisations and schools to provide individual assistance, training, and leadership development and support. Our centre focuses on education, early intervention, transitions, children’s group home and refugee camps, and building strong family engagement to support all children, especially those with learning disabilities, with economic, cultural, or linguistic barriers.

Vision
To strengthen schools to identify and support learners with barriers to attending school regularly and completing their schooling, mainly those between 2 1/2 – 6 years (in conjunction with 21st Century Pre-school), and to establish and maintain local multi-sectoral functional support networks that form an integral part of the support system for children who experience barriers to education and development
Mission
To ensure that all children have the ability to advance to their maximum potential in all necessary areas such as education, work-related skills, and life skills by ensuring that all children receive the best possible education within an environment that meets their individual needs and that they are able to realise the hopes and aspirations they and their families have for the future.
